ASIAN REVOLUTION Towards Departmental Stores

Most of us have been prey to shopping at departmental store in our country, which draws our attention towards its offers & drive trends for majority of the season with such a budget buy! 

While seasonalaffaire’s trip to Tokyo, what caught my attention was the approach towards displays and communication of the most influential departmental store of Japan: The ISETAN. So ISETAN branches out throughout Japan and East Asia. This departmental store remains to be a trendsetter with its products and a matter of pride to own pieces from here.

During my few days at Tokyo, I got to witness the store having a Shut Down Day only to revive its look with new season products. This also let me have a peek into the windows, where the window dressers kept their day going for a brand new drama evolving into it. Unlike any other departmental, this trendsetter keeps up to its window displays being dramatic, larger than life, otherworldly just like many other European fashion crown heads seen at the streets of London.
